Media Partner: What’s On Magazine

What’s On in Swansea Magazine (est. 1987) is proud to be one of the sponsors for the welcomed return of this year’s Swansea Bay Tourism Awards.

Published by Sketty Publications, What’s On Magazine is proud to represent a local, independent, family-run business. The bi-monthly magazines: Jan/Feb, Mar/Apr, May/Jun, Jul/Aug, Sept/Oct and Nov/Dec present the team’s passion and enthusiasm for the city.

What’s On remains the tourists’ favourite guide in covering major events, new developments, highlighting attractions and activities for the family to enjoy and where to wine and dine.

With many multi-million pound investments now under development across Swansea, it’s an exciting time for the city.

As Editor Holly Hughes explains: “Over the years, and still now to a certain extent, Swansea has had a bad rep. It’s our job to uncover the hidden gems and the inspiring people in our city who are making positive change. We don’t realise how lucky we are; we have a beautiful coastline and when the city centre regenerations are completed, we’ll be a force to be reckoned with!”

Swansea’s longest established magazine distributes 20,000 magazines per edition to venues across
Swansea, Mumbles, Gower and within a 30-mile radius, including Pontardawe, Port Talbot, Porthcawl, Bridgend, Ystradgynlais, Llanelli and Carmarthen.

The magazine is readily available to pick up at TICs, libraries, post offices, theatres, pubs, clubs, coffee shops, restaurants, caravan parks, hotels, local shops, leisure centres and supermarkets, and at their dedicated stand near Debenhams’s entrance in the Swansea Quadrant Centre.

With so much to boast about from coast to country, the awards will be a great way to celebrate Swansea’s buzzing tourism industry. Good luck to all of the hardworking businesses which have been nominated.
