For ALL ‘Places to stay / best accommodation’ categories we are looking for – excellence in service, hospitality, quality, and customer care – promoting local distinctiveness and warm welcome.
It is preferable, but not essential, that you are graded by Visit Wales or the AA – when judging, if there were 2 equal quality businesses, extra credit would be given to a graded accommodation provider.
Comments from your guests demonstrating your customer care would be welcomed – for example – a comment book, emails from guests, online reviews on Tripadvisor, Google Places etc…
Do you go the extra mile and add a welcome pack / gift? Do you engage with other sectors? Example – activity providers to create packages in or out of peak season.
How do you keep up to date? Perhaps – look at trends and adapt to suit your business, training etc… All these pointers will help with judging.
For details on how to enter/nominate, including entry forms and terms and conditions, please visit the Enter / Nominate pages or if you prefer you can download and complete a nomination form and post it back to us.
Closing date for entries is the 8th September 2017 – Finalists will be notified by the 6th October 2017 – the Winners of all the categories will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 9th November 2017, at the Brangwyn Hall, Swansea.
